The Group is continually kept busy during the winter when the opera is tagged at the Astra Theatre. Its members take an active part in the whole set up thus acquiring a remarkable experience when they work together with well known opera actors.

The Artistic Director of the Group is Mr. Anthony Zammit whilst Mr. George Farrugia is in charge of the wardrobe. Together they have done a lot for the group’s fame which has led the Astra Folk Group to present over the years a good number of spectacular shows for one and all
