VIVA PANAMA Ballet Folklorico

BALLET FOLKLORICO VIVA PANAMA is a private, cultural, educational, and entertainment organization, created and directed by Victor    Grimaldo on April 1991, who realized that Panamanian Culture was not represented amongst the multicultural festivals in the Southern California area.

VIVA PANAMA's main goal is to provide audience with a high quality sample of the spirit and flavor of Panama.  This dance company's repertoire is composed of original pieces approached with a contemporary vision striving to preserve the originality and authenticity in the rhythms and movements of the traditional dances, VIVA PANAMA brings forth the true spirit of the Panamanian people.

VIVA PANAMA consists of a group of talented individuals; from diverse professional fields, who enjoy sharing their culture through music and dance.

Currently, Ballet Folklorico VIVA PANAMA maintains a full performance schedule all year long throughout California, Texas, and Puerto Rico.  The dance company has been invited to performed in Italy, Mexico, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Hong Kong.
